How DIEM Sellers Earn MOR
When you stake DIEM on Mordiem.com, your tokens back compute capacity on the Morpheus decentralized AI marketplace. Buyers pay for inference in MOR, and the Morpheus protocol distributes those MOR proceeds to providers proportional to their staked capacity.
As a thank-you for supporting the Mordiem ecosystem, the platform gifts DIEM stakers $0.50 worth of MOR per $1.00 of DIEM usage generated through their backing. This gift is made entirely at Mordiem’s discretion and is not a guaranteed payment, yield, or return—see our Terms of Use for full details.
Example
A buyer uses 1.00 DIEM of inference routed through your staked DIEM capacity. Mordiem gifts you $0.50 worth of MOR as a token of appreciation for your role in the ecosystem. The remaining $0.50 worth of MOR supports ongoing platform development, infrastructure, and operations.

- The 50% MOR gift is distributed proportionally among all DIEM stakers based on their share of total staked DIEM.
- Gifts are calculated and credited periodically (typically daily) at Mordiem’s discretion.
- The gift rate, timing, and availability may change at any time without prior notice.
- Mordiem is under no obligation to make any MOR gift—it is a voluntary gesture, not a contractual commitment.
- All MOR gifts are denominated in MOR tokens; their USD-equivalent value fluctuates with market conditions.
Venice API Key Sellers
If you contribute compute by sharing your own Venice API key instead of staking DIEM, the same gift structure applies: Mordiem gifts you 50% of the MOR proceeds generated through inference routed via your key, with 50% retained by the platform.
Buyer Fees
Buyers are not charged a separate platform fee. Inference is priced in MOR per token at rates derived from the Morpheus model registry. The full MOR amount paid by the buyer is what gets split as described above.
Builders Pool Staking
Staking MOR to the MORDIEM Builders Pool is a separate on-chain activity governed by the Morpheus Builders smart contract. Mordiem does not take a fee on Builders Pool rewards. See the Buy Inference page for details on the Builders Pool.
